LAS VEGAS -- Hostilities will be renewed between the Vegas Golden Knights and the Edmonton Oilers in Game 1 of the Western Conference Second Round at T-Mobile Arena on Tuesday (9:30 p.m. ET; ESPN, SN, TVAS, CBC).

In the just-completed first-round series against the Los Angeles Kings, the Edmonton Oilers ran the best roster players on the same line for 75 minutes at five-on-five. The total represented about 65 percent of the overall playing time for Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl in the game state over the course of the series.

There are more edges in the Golden Knights’ favor overall, and they’ll need those to prevail past the Oilers’ overpowering top-level talent.
