Rudy Gobert recorded two playoff career-highs to lift the Minnesota Timberwolves past the Los Angeles Lakers in Game 5 and advance to the NBA Western Conference Semifinals.

The Minnesota Timberwolves, led by superstar guard Anthony Edwards, upset the Los Angeles Lakers in an intense yet swift five-game series. While it was Edwards leading the charge most of the way, Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert was the reason for the improbable Game 5 victory.

Gobert had 27 points and 24 rebounds as the Timberwolves were too physical for the Lakers, in Game 5 and all series.
