Expect Boston to target Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns in the 1st Celtics-Knicks playoff series since 2013.

The 2024-25 postseason may be the last ride for the Boston Celtics, at least with this current roster configuration. As ESPN's Shams Charania noted during an appeared on Thursday's The Pat McAfee Show, the Celtics may be forced to make some changes from a financial perspective:

Jrue Holiday of the Boston Celtics has won the NBA's sportsmanship award for the second time, making him the fifth player in league history to win that trophy in multiple years. Holiday received about 34% of the first-place votes cast by nearly 400 current NBA players to decide the award winner.

It is the second such nod for Holiday, however, who previously won the award in the 2020-21 regular season as well.

Jrue Holiday became the first Celtic player in franchise history to win the NBA Sportsmanship Award on Thursday. It’s the second time that Holiday has won the award, also doing so as a member of the Milwaukee Bucks during the 2020-21 season.
