Georgia's success with quarterbacks on the recruiting trail goes back a few years now. The Bulldogs secured a commitment from a pair of four stars (Ryan Montgomery, 2025; Ryan Puglisi, 2024) who will occupy the depth chart this fall.

In a jaw-dropping decision, class of 2026 quarterback recruit Jared Curtis announced his commitment to the Georgia Bulldogs over the Oregon Ducks. Curtis will be the highest quarterback recruit to commit to the Bulldogs in almost two decades.

Curtis becomes the first No. 1 quarterback in the country to commit to Georgia since Matthew Stafford back in 2006. He was named both Gatorade Player of the Year and Mr. Football in Tennessee after a stellar junior season. The 6-foot-4 signal caller threw for 40 touchdowns and added 18 on the ground.
